The SCCHGS Volunteer Research Team is happy to assist with your Santa Clara County area research.

1. Only three names per submission: full name, approximate birth – marriage – death dates and town or locality.

2. Fees are PER NAME for each item selected below. Enclose a check or money order for the full amount, made out to SCCHGS. Your order will not be processed without it. Your check will be processed quickly andthe fee is FOR THE SEARCH – if the information is not there, we cannot manufacture it.

3. Enclose a legal-size SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope.) Your order will not be processed without one.

4. Assume a 60-to-90 day response time – depending on the volunteer’s time and availability.

5. The more information you can give us, the better we can find your data and send it back to you.

IF death date is unknown, the California Death Indexes will be searched for $10 per name additional; i.e., $20 total per each. If we can not find a death date we WILL NOT do an obituary search as we must have a date to search. We will, however, provide a search in one of the other resources of your choosing. Please designate in the space below what resource you would like us to search if we are unable to find a death date for you.
