What do you know about your family history, and how do you know it? Are the stories passed down through generations fact or legend? This session explores these essential questions to help you embark on your genealogy journey.

Learn the foundational principles of genealogy research, including how to gather and record information effectively on Pedigree Charts and a Family Group Sheets. Evaluating sources—an essential skill for every genealogist, will also be taught in this session. While tailored for beginners, genealogists of all experience levels are welcome to attend and refine their skills.
