Gen-Fed has been instructing advanced students about our nation's federal records since 1950. This presentation will discuss the history and purpose of the institute as well as introduce some of the genealogical gems available to us from the National Archives.

Rebecca Whitman Koford holds credentials as a Certified Genealogist® and as a Certified Genealogical Lecturer®. She has been the director of Gen-Fed since 2021. She served as Executive Director of the Board for Certification of Genealogists® from 2018–2024. She became vice president of the National Genealogical Society in 2024.

Our meetings are free and open to the public.
